Calendar faux pas, take 2!

When it comes to ordering calendars for the new year, I seem to be numerically challenged. A couple of years ago, I used a popular photo sharing site to create a personalized calendar with favorite family and vacation photos. Since it was November, I didn’t think to verify that I was using the template for the upcoming year, not the current year. UGH!!! Who’d have thought to check such a thing that close to December???

When the calendar arrived and I discovered my error, rather than waste all the time and effort I’d put into compiling my special photos, all I could do was sit down with a marker and change all the dates! (I did lodge a complaint with the company, however.)

Can you believe I did almost the same thing a few weeks ago? Having no interest in commemorating my boring year of 2020 quarantine, I decided to order a generic “cowboy” calendar from Amazon for the new year. I mean, really, who would still be selling 2020 calendars in December??? But sure enough, the other day when I finally got around to hanging the calendar on my office wall…yup, 2020.

So this morning I got busy with my trusty marker again and corrected all the dates. Yes, all 365 of them! Because I couldn’t bear to toss a year’s worth of hardworking cowboys and their horses!

Confession time! What’s the silliest goof you’ve ever made? Share if you dare!
