If you’re an avid reader of Christian fiction and a fan of my books, I’d love to have you join an elite group of readers dedicated to helping share news about my upcoming releases.

How does it work?

Advance Reviewer Team members will be sent a BookFunnel link for downloading the ARC (advance reader copy) ebook edition a few weeks before the book’s official release day. Your first job is to read the book BEFORE it releases. 

Next—and most important—is to write your honest review. It doesn’t have to be lengthy, and it shouldn’t read like a plot summary. Especially don’t include spoilers! Use a conversational tone as if telling your best friend what you liked about the characters, why the story kept you turning pages, and why you think your friend would love the book, too.

The most influential places to post reviews are Amazon, Goodreads, and BookBub. Amazon reviews will not be accepted until release day, but other sites may allow reviews if the book is already up for preorder and in their system.

Here are a few other ways you can help get the word out:

• First and foremost, tell your friends!
• On Goodreads? Right away, mark the book as “want to read.”
• Mention the book (include Amazon link) on Facebook, X, Instagram, Goodreads, and other social media platforms as appropriate.
• Book club member? Suggest the book for an upcoming selection. If I’m available that day, I’m happy to Zoom in to join the discussion.
• Have a blog? Post your thoughts about the book and include the Amazon link.
• If you’re a member of any reader groups on Facebook or elsewhere, post about the book there.
• Ask your local library to order a copy and encourage your family and friends in other cities to do the same.
• Share your favorite quotes from the book on social media.
• Snap a selfie or take a photo your child, grandchild, or pet with the book and post on social media. If you like using hashtags, be sure to include #amreading
